Emily

When Emily first started practicing yoga, it was mostly with fitness and exercise in mind, but over the years she began to realize how much more there is to the practice – yoga truly is a practice of mind, body, and spirit. In 2019 she received her RYT-200 certification in Fluid Yoga with Kevan Gale and Jamie Russell, with an intent to pursue a trauma-informed yoga training next. In early 2023 she completed the 300-hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga certification program. She never could have imagined the way this training would impact her role as a yoga facilitator, or the way it would shape the way she saw the world. Emily welcomes participants to practice alongside her with compassion and curiosity, and invites them to engage with the class in whichever way feels useful to them!
