Join us every Sunday morning promptly, rain or shine, for a 90-minute community fitness fusion of stretching, running, and yoga. We start at the studio, then take a short walk to the common for a 10-minute stretch. After that, we embark on a 30-minute group run with alternating routes, typically covering 3 miles out and back. We return to the studio for a brief 10-minute break before concluding with a 40-minute yoga session.
Prema Agate
Prema teaches Vinyasa-style Fluid yoga at the beginner to intermediate level. Stretching is a fundamental aspect to her approach but she also incorporates some strength training and conditioning to enhance the practice. Throughout the flow she ensures a comprehensive practice.
Beyond just the physical postures, she believes in using yoga as a means to move deeper into challenging areas of the body that may not be easily reached through typical pre or post-workout stretching. The transitions between movements are also important, as they offer unique benefits for the body.
In her classes she encourages students to find inspiration from within themselves. She believes that everyone possesses greatness, and her goal is to inspire students to recognize that within themselves. Prema has completed her 200 hr and 300 hr yoga teacher certification through Triyana Studies.
